This is a session for folks who are dedicated to their practice and are looking for an opportunity to practice with a sangha, and in noble silence, for an extended period of time. For this session, there will be no introductory talk on a topic. This session is for folks who are looking to go deeper into their meditation practice in silence with as supportive group.
This session is not guided. We’ll welcome folks into the room promptly at 7:30PM, we’ll take 10 minutes or so to get settled, and we’ll sit in noble silence for 45 minutes. At 8:25 a bell will be rung, at which time folks may choose to exit quietly to continue honoring noble silence, or they may stay for a brief Q&A which will commence after those who have chosen to depart have done so.
Although no experience is necessary to attend, I would recommend that you attend at least one of our “Supporting your Practice” sessions first if you are new to silent meditation. This mediation will repeat on the Thursday of the third week of each month.
