With all of the conversations and dialogue going on about mindfulness and meditation, what can occasionally get lost is the attention to the actual meditation practice itself. How do you start a meditation practice? What does an established practice look like? Am I doing it enough to make a difference? Of course, the big question… am I doing it right??? Come join us on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month for sessions devoted to bring skill-building to your meditation practice. We can all use a little postural tune up here or a little support or encouragement there, and this is the time to do it.
All are welcome to join us at the Brennan Institute for Mind-Body Healing for a brief dialogue about an aspect of a sitting practice followed by a 20-ish or so minute quiet sitting. Bring yourself, bring an interested friend, and be a part of the community. No experience necessary!
Our organization is supported through dana, or "spontaneous generosity of the heart." A $5 offering is suggested.
