Happy New Year, everybody! This is the season for new beginnings and new challenges! It's also, however, the season for the traditional, but often dreaded, maligned, and often broken New Year's Resolution. From "I'll lose 20 pounds this year and go to the gym three times per week," to "I'll start a meditation practice this year," these resolutions, although made with the best of intentions, rarely turn out the way we envisioned. In this January "First Friday" session, we'll talk about intentionality and the intentions behind the resolutions we make, and about how maybe it's more productive to make a New Year's Intention rather than a New Year's Resolution.
